I would also like to add to my previous comment that the person who is truly seeking God needs to bear in mind that a truly contrite heart coupled with humility is a weapon of great spiritual value in our “war” against evil. Satan is always looking for Christians who “think they are someone”, but God warns against this sinful attitude. I would like to thank you for your interesting discussion.

Apathy and lack of understanding are truly two of Satan’s greatest tools against individuals and the Church. If the human mind could fathom the enormity of Eternal Life with its seemingly boundless possibilities, perhaps it would it would be a little easier to bear the uncertain and increasingly evil circumstances of this present world that we so often seem to forget to ask God to help us with.

It is early in the morning and I found your article here on trust. Today, I am going to do like you have done and think deeply on this scripture.

I want the Lord to be truly Lord of my heart – the more I can trust Him, the more I will be able to be at peace.
This will overflow to friends, family, and all those surrounding us.

I will begin today to trust more than ever the goodness of the Lord, the kindness of the Lord, and His wisdom, not my own.
